Jason Dunkle is a State College criminal defense lawyer that started his own firm, JD Law, P.C., in 2012.  Has has been practicing criminal defense in Central Pennsylvania, primarily in Blair, Centre, Clinton, Clearfield, Huntingdon, and Mifflin counties since 2004.  He has represented people charged with a variety of criminal offenses, including DUI, drug delivery, marijuana possession, simple assault or aggravated assault, furnishing alcohol to a minor, underage drinking, theft, fake id, rape, firearms related offenses, and violations of the wiretapping act. His office is located in downtown State College, so within minutes of the University Park campus of Penn State University.  He obtained his bachelor's degree in political science from Penn State and his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  As Pitt, he was the recipient of the merit-based Dean's Scholarship that gave him approximatley 50% of his tuition.  Fro 2011 through 2013, he has been nominated as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers, an award given to no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in Pennsylvania.  He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and was even a guest lecturer at a continuing legal education course on Drug Suppression Issues in Pennsylvania.
